THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS CONSULTANT GOES TO DENVER

This past week, along with the 1st Presidential Debate in Denver, we were there to learn how to better serve students at the 2012 NACAC Conference.   We also got to tour THE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER and THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, BOULDER.

This is a time when we all come together from all over the world, and share ideas, thoughts, and learn from our peers on the latest developments or see new products that can be used to assist us in helping students transition from High School or Community College to a 4-year school.

This convention was made up of College Admissions Officers, High School Principals, College Counselors, College Consultants ( like us),  SAT/ACT Tutors, and Companies that provide products to enhance the college application process.

The Value of this to Students and Families is that we are able to share with you first hand information that we have discovered or learned about as a result of going to a convention like this.  Often, School Counselors are not able to attend due to budget cuts,   and this is how a consultant can assist you and your school counselor in the college admissions process.

MANY CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOLS LOSE COLLEGE COUNSELORS IN FALL 2010

In Fall, 2010, students applying to college or preparing for college will find that many of their schools are without the assistance of college counselors to assist them through the process.

The College Admissions Consultant is offering their services at no cost to Santa Monica High School, and other schools in the Los Angeles vacinity to help out with the shortage of help.

Students should look to "THE APPLICA-PHOBIA OF COLLEGE ADMISSIONS" as a resource to help them through the process. If students feel the need to get more one on one counseling, please contact The College Admissions Consultant for Independent Assistance, as we help students reach their goals.
